NOTIFICATION OF SPECIAL MEETING FOR CCHA MEMBERS

In April 2010 the membership of CCHA formally voted to permit the CCHA board of directors to negotiate the terms of a merger with the Craft and Hobby Association (CHA) based in Elmwood Park, NJ, USA. Over the past several months a CCHA committee has been negotiating with the U.S. based CHA and the respective association’s legal counsel in order to establish a formal joint relationship between the two organizations.

The board of directors invites each CCHA member to participate in a special interactive virtual meeting to be hosted via web conference to report on the outcome of the negotiations. A vote will be held on the proposed agreement. Day, time and more details will be sent to all CCHA members shortly.
